Marrakech is Morocco’s most intoxicating city with beautiful weather almost all year round, treasured monuments, its famous souks and the snow-capped Atlas range. In just a 3 ¾ hour flight from London, you’ll find yourself in the vibrancy of this enticing city.
Marrakech now also boasts many 5 star hotels due to an influx of international visitors. The city is also renowned for its cuisine and has a huge array of restaurants, cafes and lounges, where one can try every type of Moroccan dish as well as international cuisine of the highest standards. Marrakech also boasts some exclusive bars and clubs such as Silver and Pacha, which regularly welcome international DJs.
DAY 1
HOTEL AND ARRIVAL
Your 5 star spa Hotel is a magnificent palace set in the middle of luxurious gardens consisting of palm trees and bougainvilleas. The hotel boasts sculpted ceilings, traditional zelliges and beautiful Moroccan carpets. The warm and comfortable rooms assure your guests an unforgettable stay within splendid landscapes offering picturesque views over the gardens, swimming pools and mountains. Located in the heart of the most dynamic residential neighbourhood, the hotel is moments from the well-known square of Jamma El Fna and the Medina, and just 15 minutes from the airport, with direct access to the city centre.
On arrival guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail within the hotel before dinner on site at the restaurant in the heart of the hotel’s lush gardens. The menu of refined French-Moroccan cuisine is served with a contemporary twist. Afterwards, guests can relax and catch a live show in the hotel’s club.
DAY 2
BREAKFAST AND SPICE BAZAR TOUR
In the morning, guests will enjoy a buffet style breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Afterwards, guests will meet in the hotel’s lobby ready for their activity- a shopping trip into the magical Souks and spice markets of the famous Medina, followed by a traditional lunch there afterwards.
DINNER AND SPECTACULAR NIGHTCLUB
This popular restaurant, bar and lounge is located just outside the old city and specializes in Franco–Moroccan cooking with a menu prepared monthly by a Michelin-starred chef. Situated on two floors, the basement is used as a nightclub, the restaurant is to be found on level one, and the roof overlooks the city walls to one side and out towards the desert on the other, making a wonderful setting to sip a cocktail whilst watching the sun go down. On certain evenings a week you will find entertainment such as belly dancing which is always a crowd pleaser.
The experience can continue late into the night at this newly renovated nightclub, which will have your guests amazed with its iced-up door and space age interior, which offers a very exciting atmosphere. There are fire-breathing dancers, podiums for posers and international DJs, which will certainly keep you all entertained. If you wish to sit back and relax to watch the partygoers, Green & Pleasant will be able to organise VIP entry and a table exclusively for your guests.
DAY 3
SELF DRIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS
Guests will enjoy a buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant, before the day’s activity commences. Guests will depart for the self drive experience in local 4WD self drive cars, with a road book specially designed for the group. The group will be split into teams of 4 where they will make their way in the cars towards the High Atlas mountains, soaking in the experience of driving through the Berber valleys and villages. During the trip the teams will stop to discover elements of the area for example entering a Berber family house with a mint tea ceremony and a masterclass to prepare the traditional mint tea followed by a falcon show demonstration with traditional ‘Maalam falconers’. Following this, the group will be transferred back to the hotel where they can relax before getting ready for the evening’s dinner and entertainment.
DINNER AND A LEGENDARY NIGHTCLUB
Tonight, you and your guests will dine in one of the most beautifully designed restaurants in Marrakech, serving Moroccan French cuisine. Your guests will enjoy creative Mediterranean cuisine, while a DJ plays lounge music and a singer performs, providing a relaxed atmosphere.
After dinner, guests will be given VIP passes to a private table in a world renowned nightclub. After enjoying some cocktails on the bar terrace, the group will be escorted to an exclusive area reserved just for them in the main club in order to enjoy the music and atmosphere.
DAY 4
BEACH TRIP AND DINNER
A buffet breakfast within the hotel will be followed by transfer to the beach – a charming oasis with a relaxed and sophisticated ambience. Guests will be able to relax and enjoy the exotic perfumes and beautiful palm trees and will also have the opportunity to choose from a range of international cuisines whilst sipping on delicious cocktails and enjoying the music.
Dinner this evening is served in a restaurant with a chic Parisian style, an elegant but laid-back interior, and a comprehensive international menu consisting of French, Italian, Asian and Moroccan cuisine. The main restaurant area can be privatised for dinner and there is also a terrace, which has wonderful views and a garden – a great setting for drinks before dinner. Dim lighting and low music add to the mood, but as the night progresses the music gets louder, and belly dancers entertain guests as they dance around tables. With great food, ambience and service to match, this establishment is very much worth the trip out of town on the final evening.
DAY 5
DEPARTURES
Guests will enjoy breakfast in the hotel before check out and return transfers to the airport.
